Description
-- Overall responsible for all Engineering and Equipment related requests for WEST AFRICA
- Manages all projects and Technical Customer Services in the region
- Participates in all WEST AFRICA sales forums (MRD, Sales funnel discussions, AOP Planning, etc)
- Participates in global engineering forums (Dryformance, Divomask, Procurement, Engineering Supply Chain related, etc

- Maintains a healthy sales funnel for WEST AFRICA
- Monthly Engineering Meetings with all engineers in MEA
- Monthly feedback meeting with MEA Engineering Lead
- Quarterly reporting to MEA Engineering Lead
- Manage engineering equipment audits (Supports sales in collecting engineering-related data for tenders, audits and quotes)
- Implement engineering / equipment related contract wins at customers (within budget)
- Maintain healthy relationship with suppliers (local and global)
- Manage key strategic suppliers directly
- Implement engineering related projects across the region, assign resources (internal and external), communicate with necessary resources, etc

- Identify and escalate road blocks and risks
- Define team member’s roles and responsibilities:
- Such as the general expectation of the team member, reporting structure, organization of requests, deliverables, time management, etc

Job Requirement
we are looking for a candidate who fulfill these requirements
- Engineering project management experience, preferably 5+ years experience in project engineering preferably in a food and beverage environment
- Knowledge of the principal vendors of components for engineering projects in the food and beverage industry and knowledge of the industry standards
- Experience working with professional services / 3rd parties
- Team building and teamwork, coordination capabilities, decision making, optimal communication skills, critical thinking, strategizing, multitasking, timeliness and dependability, demonstrated ability to prioritize
- Knowledge of the cleaning and hygienic requirements in the food and beverage industry (has enough cleaning and sanitation and industry expertise/knowledge to understand the needs and requirements of customers and to agree internally on the most appropriate solutions)
